Semonkong Lodge is proud to support the Local Youth Group in the establishment of an environmental awareness centre. We have the original Trading store in Semonkong, built in 1938 and are in the process of refurbishing this building. We hope to educate all the children in Semonkong, on the beauty of their environment & the need to conserve it. We would like to create as many jobs as possible focusing on the nature of Semonkong. We feel that our entire Community must be part of the conservation of our area and must also develop their skills to reap the rewards that eco-tourism has to offer.
