A birders dream, the unique alpine birdlife of the Maluti Mountains, and other fauna of Lesotho, can all be spotted in and around the lodge. Some of these include the rare Bearded vulture, Bald Ibis, Jackal Buzzard, Black Eagle, and Ground Woodpecker just to name a few.
