There is no place like Lesotho for 4×4 driving, & one of the better spots is around the Semonkong area. Use the Semonkong Lodge as your base & you can then take your outdrives from there. The area has everything on offer, from gentle scenic leisurely 4×4 driving with the family in your shiny 4×4 to serious 4x4ing where you need to have your wits about you & a sound knowledge of 4×4 driving, it’s all around Semonkong.
The 4×4 trails are just about everything that an outdoors 4×4 driver could ask for, take a pack lunch from the lodge and disappear into the mountains on any one of the many 4×4 trails that the area has to offer. The local mountain folk are the friendliest that one would find anywhere, no matter where you go, you will get nothing but the broadest of smiles & the friendliest of mountain greetings.

Should you have your own vehicle then a basic map and directions are available at reception, a guide can be arranged to accompany you in your own vehicle to assist with directions.
